Algorithm of writing an essay

1. Carefully read all the topics (statements) offered for your mcessay.

2. Choose the one that will meet several requirements:

- is interesting to you;

- you understand the meaning of the statement;

- you have something to say on this topic (you know the terms, you can give examples, you have personal experience).

Identify the main idea of the statement, for this purpose use the periphrase technique (say the same thing, but in your own words).

4. Sketch an argument "for" and/or "against" the statement (if you have arguments "for" and "against" the aphorism taken as a topic, your essay can be polemical in nature).

5. For each argument, choose examples, facts, situations from life, personal experience.

6. Think about what literary techniques you will use to make the language of your essay more interesting, lively.

7. Arrange the selected arguments and/or counterarguments in a sequence (this will be your plan).

8. Come up with an introduction to the argument (you can write in it why you chose this topic, give information about the author of the statement).

9. Formulate a general conclusion of the paper, edit it.

How to choose the topic of the essay?

1.Do I understand the meaning of the statement, what did the author want to say?

2.What are the main problems of social studies related to this topic?
3. Do I agree with the given statement, how do I express my attitude to it?
4. What social science terms do I need to use to support my point of view competently?

5. What examples from history, social life, my own life experience?

How do I learn to write a social studies essay?

1.Understand that an essay is a type of essay, in which the main role played not the reproduction of fact, but the image of impressions, reflections of associations. The author's position and attitude (especially in the main part) should be clearly traced.

2.Write down the topic of the essay.

3.Do not forget that you are  an best writing services on social studies, so immediately on the draft sketch social studies terms, quotations, examples, facts, acceptable for the disclosure of the topic.

4.Define the problem. The problem is a complex practical or theoretical issue that needs to be solved.

Essay structure. Identified the problem, i.e., the problem that requires a solution, formulate the thesis - the author's thought on this or that problem. The author's thought is expressed in the form of a thesis (T). But the thought must be supported by evidence, arguments of a scientific or mundane nature. Therefore, the thesis is followed by arguments (A). Arguments are facts, phenomena of social life, events, life situations and life experiences, literary situations, scientific evidence, etc. It is better (but not obligatory) to give two arguments in favor of this or that thesis, since one can be unconvincing, three arguments can overload (the essay is a "small genre" after all!).
